This website runs no analytics tool. With your marketing choice on, it runs one advertising pixel, Meta's, described below the table. This is everything it keeps in your browser:

- Marketing
- What it does
- The click id a Facebook, Instagram or Google ad adds to its link (fbclid, gclid, gbraid or wbraid), kept with the visit, sent with any form you submit and passed to our sign-up form, so we can see which ads bring buyers.

A cookie- Category
- Marketing
- What it does
- Meta's click and browser ids, set by the Meta Pixel when it runs on this website: only with marketing on, never while your browser sends Global Privacy Control, and not at all until we configure it. The Pixel reports the pages you view here to Meta, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. The cookies sit on prestigeopticslab.com, which our customer portal shares, so its sign-up form sees the same ids. Turn marketing off and this website removes them.

_fbc, _fbpA cookie | Marketing | Meta's click and browser ids, set by the Meta Pixel when it runs on this website: only with marketing on, never while your browser sends Global Privacy Control, and not at all until we configure it. The Pixel reports the pages you view here to Meta, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. The Meta Pixel
With marketing on, this website loads the Meta Pixel, a script from Meta Platforms, Inc., and it reports each page you view here to Meta: the page's address and the page that linked to it, your IP address and browser details, and the _fbc and _fbp ids above. That is all it sends from this website; it reports nothing you type here. With marketing off, or while your browser sends Global Privacy Control, the script doesn't load and this website removes those two cookies. Until we configure the Pixel, it doesn't run at all. Our Privacy policy covers what Meta does with this and what our sign-up form reports.
Which rules apply where you are
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and a few territories closely tied to them, analytics and marketing stay off until you turn them on. Everywhere else, they are on until you turn them off. Until we know which rules apply, both stay off, and if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, marketing stays off wherever you are.
To work out which rules apply, this website asks our own server, at /api/region, which reads the country our hosting provider derives from your IP address. It answers with the rules for that country, stores nothing and sets no cookie. If it can't tell, we use your device's time zone instead, and if that doesn't settle it, the stricter rules apply. The answer is kept for this visit in pol_consent_region.
On our sign-up form and customer portal
Our sign-up form and customer portal at my.prestigeopticslab.com set their own cookies. Until our customer portal reads the choice you make here, its sign-up form sets pol_ft and pol_lt whatever you choose here. These are the ones that carry campaign details:
pol_ft
A cookie- What it does
- The first campaign that brought you to us, set by our customer portal when you open its sign-up page from a link that carries campaign details. Until the portal reads the choice you make here, it sets this whatever you choose.
- How long it lasts
- 90 days
pol_lt
A cookie- What it does
- The latest campaign that brought you to us, set by our customer portal when you open its sign-up page from a link that carries campaign details. Until the portal reads the choice you make here, it sets this whatever you choose.
- How long it lasts
- 30 days
_fbc,_fbp
A cookie- What it does
- Meta's click and browser ids, also set by our customer portal's sign-up form when its Meta Pixel is configured, on the same domain this website's Pixel uses, and never while your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
- How long it lasts

| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
pol_ftA cookie | The first campaign that brought you to us, set by our customer portal when you open its sign-up page from a link that carries campaign details. Until the portal reads the choice you make here, it sets this whatever you choose. | 90 days |
pol_ltA cookie | The latest campaign that brought you to us, set by our customer portal when you open its sign-up page from a link that carries campaign details. Until the portal reads the choice you make here, it sets this whatever you choose. | 30 days |
_fbc, _fbpA cookie | Meta's click and browser ids, also set by our customer portal's sign-up form when its Meta Pixel is configured, on the same domain this website's Pixel uses, and never while your browser sends Global Privacy Control. | 90 days |
The portal also keeps:
- Sign-in cookies, which keep you signed in to the portal. The portal needs them to work, and they aren't used for advertising.
- What has already been reported: when the Meta Pixel is running on the sign-up form, the current browser tab keeps the random id of the submission it has already reported to Meta, so the same submission isn't reported twice. It holds that id only, never your answers, and it is gone when you close the tab.
- Display preferences, such as whether you've collapsed the portal's side menu.
Cookies our partners set
Some partners set cookies on their own domains, which we can't read or delete. When you pay by card, Stripe, our payment processor, sets its own cookies to prevent fraud. When the Meta Pixel runs, on this website or on our sign-up form, Meta may read and set cookies on its own domains. Their own policies cover those cookies.
Your choices
Use Manage cookies, at the foot of every page, to turn analytics and marketing on or off:
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we keep marketing off for that browser: the Meta Pixel doesn't load here and no ad click id is kept. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the forms on this website and our sign-up form still work without them.
Your choice applies to this browser. Turning marketing off is also how you opt out of sharing for advertising (see our Privacy policy); it stops the Meta Pixel on this website and removes its _fbc and _fbp cookies.
How long they last
How long each one lasts is in the tables above. "This visit" means until you close the tab or window. Your cookie choice lasts 180 days; after that, or when what we use cookies for changes, we ask again. Our partners' cookies last as long as each partner sets.
